simple pleasure of the week: picnics

Summertime means perfect picnic weather. What's nicer than packing food, and eating it outstretched on a blanket. There's something a bit more intimate about sitting around a blanket with loved ones, under the shade of a tree, or atop sand looking out at the ocean. They don't even have to be outside. An indoor picnic atop a blanket in the living room, or under a pillow fort would do nicely as well. Picnics are usually free, and make a meal that much more interesting, romantic, and special.
